Working with us

Great work is built on
strong partnership.
Great work needs strong partnership.

We bring experience, expertise, tools, and perspectives to the work. But good work also depends on the relationship we build with you – listening to what matters, understanding your context, and contracting clearly around what we are there to achieve. And as we work together, we stay open to what emerges and what may need to shift along the way.

One Partner.
Expertise of Many.

When you work with thirdplace, you work directly with me. I bring my experience, perspective, and commitment to every engagement and remain personally involved throughout the work.

When the work calls for additional expertise, I draw on a trusted international network of experienced coaches, facilitators, and leadership development professionals. This allows me to bring in the right people, perspectives, languages, and cultural experience when they add value.

Professional standards

Our work is grounded in clear professional and ethical standards. In our coaching practice, we are guided by principles of integrity, competence, confidentiality and responsibility, and by the professional standards of the Hult Ashridge Centre for Coaching.

This includes respecting the autonomy of the people we work with, maintaining clear professional boundaries, protecting confidentiality, working within the limits of our competence, and continuously reflecting on and developing our practice through professional development and supervision.

What guides our work

The principles that shape how we
think, engage, and show up.

Staying open

Remaining curious about questions, ideas, and possibilities beyond familiar routes.

We try not to enter the work assuming we already know the answer. Staying open means being curious about what we hear, questioning assumptions – including our own – and being willing to look at a situation from more than one angle. Sometimes progress comes from applying what we already know. At other times, it begins by letting go of familiar routes long enough for something different to emerge.

Being present

Attentive to what is happening here and now, not only what was expected or planned.

We prepare carefully and contract clearly for the work we do. But plans can only take us so far. Being present means paying attention to what is actually happening – in a conversation, in a room, within a team, or in ourselves – and being willing to work with it. Creating some distance from the demands of everyday work can make it possible to notice what otherwise gets overlooked.

Connecting perspectives

Bringing different experiences, cultures, ideas, and ways of seeing into meaningful exchange.

None of us sees the whole picture. Different experiences, cultures, disciplines, and points of view can reveal different parts of it. We create opportunities for those perspectives to meet – through conversation, challenge, listening, and learning from one another. The aim isn’t necessarily to reach the same view, but to arrive at a richer understanding of what is happening and what might be possible.

Inviting play

Creating room to experiment, discover, and sometimes follow something without knowing exactly where it will lead.

Play can change the quality of a conversation and the way people engage with one another. It can loosen established patterns, lower barriers, and bring energy into situations that have become overly familiar or serious. We invite play where it serves the work – not as entertainment, but as a way of shifting perspective, changing interaction, and opening up different possibilities.

Selected work

Case studies

We have worked with groups, teams, and individual leaders across sectors and around the world, helping people make a difference that extends to their teams and the wider organization.

Every engagement is different. What remains constant is our belief that sustainable change begins with better conversations, stronger relationships, and leadership teams that learn together.

Some selected case studies demonstrate how we help clients address complex challenges through thoughtful interventions, a deep understanding of human dynamics, and skilled facilitation and coaching.
